BSF Swissphoto’s project management team the delegation visits to several institutions in order to get acquainted with the Swiss cadastral system, while a second group has been trained as trainers to work with the data description standard INTERLIS.
Several SLM members have been involved in these activities. Dr. Daniel Steudler gave an introduction into the Swiss cadastral system at the Federal Office of Topography swisstopo in Berne and Dr. Jürg Lüthy and Jürg Kaufmann supported the wrap-up session with discussions about aspects of institutional arrangements and the importance of data quality at the BSF Swissphoto headquarter.
